The 2027 BMW iX3 is the first vehicle to integrate control of the drive system and control of driving dynamics into one single unit, appropriately named the BMW Heart of Joy. This central computer works alongside BMW Dynamic Performance Control Software to coordinate every process in milliseconds, ensuring exceptional control and confidence-inspiring driving, including a revolutionary Soft Stop function.

Ultra-rapid charging within the BMW Charging Network is fast and convenient, supported by a NACS charging port for seamless access to Tesla Superchargers. An adapter for CCS (Level 3) charging is also included, giving you the flexibility to charge almost anywhere. The BMW iX3 additionally supports bidirectional charging, allowing its battery to serve as home back-up power, a mobile power bank, or an energy source for another BMW.

- Pay a $1,000 deposit through Stripe online to secure early production of your vehicle.
Reservations require a refundable deposit paid to the dealer, who completes the transaction. The consumer must cancel the reservation if needed. All applicable terms, conditions, and restrictions are outlined in the Terms. Deliveries of the BMW iX3 start in fall 2026.
